31 Days: Day 8

I feel like I keep having to play catch up with this 31 days blogging! haha. Maybe a bit ambitious as my first string of blogging, but I will get caught up soon and then hopefully stay on top of it! I promise I will stop posting multiple blogs a day for all those following me on twitter!

So I work with youth, high school and junior high. I check twitter, facebook, and instagram a few times a day. I try to connect with my kids youth right where they are, and that’s where they are!

Hashtags kind of drive me a bit crazy. I never read them correctly the first time. I have good eyesight its just a bigolejumbleofwordsthatyouhavetofigureoutwhatswhat (big ole jumble of words that you have to figure out whats what). One hash tag that I have seen a lot of lately is #sorrynotsorry. (sorry not sorry)

Often they make some statement about who they are or something that happened and then follow it up with #sorrynotsorry. Most times I am proud that they are not going to change who they are because it makes someone upset. Being true to who you are is a big plus in my book!

The Bible says:

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong 1 Corinthians 16:13

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

We are called to stay true to our faith, to not let society or other’s beliefs change our beliefs in the Truth.

So I want to say #sorrynotsorry for what I believe and pray that my youth and friends will not lose sight of it as well!
